All of our products are tested and repaired so they'll last you a couple of more decades. Our skilled technicians can repair any 8-track tape. All of our used 8-track tapes have been checked, cleaned, tested and then restored meaning new pads, foil splice and maybe inserts ( if needed ) have been replaced. We also adjust the tension on the tape (re-spool if needed) giving you top performance from your tape for many years. The 8-track tapes on the New or Used category are the actual tape that you will receive, the image was taken from the actual 8-track tape and it is not a stock photo. Time does take it's tow on the 8-track tape that is why we replace all inserts ( if needed ) so if you see the outer cover does not have the best appearance, rest assured the inside will last you a very long time. We also inspect and service all of our electronics so they look and sound like the first day they were purchased. We match all recording speeds from the motor to sound, so it will sound as if you were standing live in the music studio. All tape heads have been cleaned, demagnetized and aligned (if needed) for music quality assurance. However, we have some bad but good news for you, we don't go away even after the sale. If for any reason our product does not perform send it back and we'll repair it for a nominal cost after the 30 day guarantee has expired. 8-track tapes can be repaired as little as $2 and players can be repaired as little as $10 depending on parts and obtaining them. For repairs please e-mail us to discuss the problems you may be incurring, once we have discussed and agreed upon the price of the repair, we will then open an item space where you will be able to make the purchase for the repair. Please note all our prices do regulate higher or lower (except for the price of the agreed repair) due to demand or adjustment in prior listing of the item, which was priced either too high or low.
