8tracksRback stands behind a 7-day money-back and a 30-day send it back will repair or exchange warranty with another item of equal value except for New Sealed 8-track or cassette tapes they are sold AS-IS for we have no way to determine the condition or play ability of the tape. Please note all 8-track tapes used or new should have a new foil splice due to age and also keep in mind you can usually tell a book by it's cover if the item you are planning to purchase looks very used, it usually is, and you should expect the tape not in a flawless condition as far as the audio portion. All tapes are tested again prior to shipping. We will send out a complimentary e-mail making you aware of any discrepancy prior to shipping the item, allowing you time to either accept the product chosen or to make another selection. Pad replacement should be determined by a professional qualified inspection. Item pictured is the actual product you will receive once selected. Also, please note the price for all new tapes are sent to you Sealed New and does not include foil splice and pads and have not been inspected for pinch roller replacement, new cassette tape pad may need to be replaced, if you should purchase that type of format. If you would like us to perform this service on your new item please e-mail us with this request, there will be an additional charge of $7.50 for foil splice and pad(s), and there will be an additional $7.50 charge if the pinch roller needs to be replaced on ( usually on Lear and Ampex pre-1970 cartridges) each new 8-track tape purchased. All used 8-track tapes comes with a new foil splice, pinch roller and pad replacement ( if needed ) with no additional charges that will apply when making a used 8-track tape purchase . If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase simply e-mail us letting us know that it will be in return transit, upon receipt a full refund will be returned via Paypal or Google ( Except for transit charges ). Our 30-Day warranty states after the 7-Day has expired a 30-Day replace or exchange warranty if for any reason the item mechanically fails to operate properly simply return it and we'll either repair or exchange it with another item of equal value. 8tracksRback will not be liable for above said warranty if the item or items received have been damaged due to neglect, whether intentional or non intentional. We will not stand behind the warranty if the product have been subjected to extreme heat, floods, electrical power surges, earthquakes, or any other means of product damage due to natural or un-natural events. We also reserve the right to cancel any liability of said warranties if any security features on the inside of the cartridge of the 8-track tape have been removed or altered in anyway. The exterior pink security feature stamp on the cassette tape ( which can easily be removed with a dry cloth ) should also be in place until the end of the warranty period, so please be careful handling the cassette until you are satisfied with your purchase. All returns must have uncracked and secure components including labels and artwork. If an 8-track tape fails to operate properly, do not try to open the case and repair it yourself, immediately notify us via e-mail and then ship it back to us, same with electrical components and any other items purchased from our site. All items purchased from this site are insured items while in transit to the customer no additional insurance is required unless stated on the item you are purchasing. Tracking and delivery confirmation number will be e-mailed to the customer upon shipment of the item or items. Please note all Paypal orders are immediate and will ship usually the next business day, Google check-out usually takes a few business days longer however once payment has been received your item will ship and a notification by e-mail from 8tracksRBack will be sent to you. 8trackRBack ask's for up to 3 business days shipping and handling time on all orders, except for International, Next and 2nd Day Air orders. All International, Next and 2nd Day orders will ship on the following business day after the item was purchased excluding Sunday's and Holiday's. A $15.00 handling charge will be added to Next and 2nd Day and Priority orders, per order and not per item. All reduced AS-IS merchandise is reduced and sold as-is with no warranties, workmanship of any kind, also the purchaser assumes full responsibility for the product including damaged during transit and lost in the mail. We will provide delivery confirmation for the purchase, however you may purchase insurance just e-mail us to make arrangements. Send it in if you notice chipping or foil cracking. If you should ever hear distorted sounds while you play the tape that usually means your pad may have became mis-aligned ( sometimes happens when accidentally dropped ) please send it in so we may adjust it. 8tracksRBack will not be held responsible for any damage to any property or person that may occur from any of our 8-track tapes or other products we offer once you receive them by mail or pick-up. PLEASE NOTE : DURING CHECK-OUT : If you are purchasing an 8-track tape please select Media Mail, and if it's 1-3 tapes you are purchasing, we will upgrade your order to First Class, 3 or more tapes will be sent Media Mail due to postal weight regulations. Please select Parcel Post only if you are buying an electronic item, if you select Parcel Post for an 8-track tape or cassette tape the postal calculator will charge your order $7.02 and somewhere around $5 for each additional item when choosing Parcel Post shipping instead of $2.79 for Media. So remember Tapes/Media - Electronics/Parcel. Also for combined shipping on several tapes you may order the price structure is like this; 1st tape $2.78 and each additional tape is calculated by the postal calculator usually a little over .70 cents for eash additional tape, and for orders placed over $100.00 free shipping ( $100 in merchandise) in the United States. We get pretty busy around here so we do not always catch over-payment in shipping, so if you feel you made an over-payment please e-mail us and we will re-credit your Google or PayPal, if we find you have made an error in selecting the proper postage.
CASSETTE TAPES; 8tracksRBack has now added cassette tapes to the line-up of products we now sell. Please understand when purchasing these products we do not test or repair these tapes until you purchase this item unless noted that the item has been tested. When we repair these items we only make sure the pad is fully secured or if the pad is missing we re-attach a new one. Sometimes the cassette tape will drag beyond conventional repair and at that time you will be notified by e-mail to please make another selection. Repairing a tape that is dragging is labor intensive and will draw the price of the cassette a lot higher of what you originally purchased it for, monetarilly for labor reasons it is not in our best interest so that is why we'll e-mail you asking to please make another selection. Eventually all the cassette tapes will be marked tested so when you decide to make that purchase you can be fully confident you will receive the cassette tape you selected.
